As the Christmas season approaches, here is a list of Santa Claus Parades that you and your family can enjoy throughout the 905 area region.
Oakville Santa Claus Parade
Saturday, November 16, 2019 | 9:00 am
The route begins in Downtown Oakville at Lakeshore Road East and Reynolds Avenue. The 2019 theme is: “Things we do at Christmas time”.
The parade will begin promptly at 9:00 am at the corner of Lakeshore and Reynolds. The first float should arrive at Lakeshore and Navy at about 9:20 am, Lakeshore and Kerr at 9:30 am and Kerr and Stewart at about 9:55 am. These times are approximate.
This is a rain or shine event coordinated in association with the Town of Oakville.
Hamilton Santa Claus Parade

Santa Claus Parade in Hamilton is an event for the whole family. The parade that starts in Queen and Main Streets and ends in Bay Street, lasts thirty minutes. Bands, floating stages with entertainment, dancing and singing groups participate in the festive parade.
Milton Santa Claus Parade
Sunday, November 17 | 1:30 pm – 3-00 pm
The 2019 Milton Santa Claus parade theme is “Celebrating the North”. Celebrating how Milton is a part of one of the greatest countries in the world. Canada is widely known for its hockey (now basketball), maple syrup, and brutally cold winters, but this year’s parade theme will allow parade entries to celebrate what makes “The North” so great!
Flamborough Santa Claus Parade – Light the Way for Santa
Saturday, November 30 | 6:30 pm | Downtown Waterdown
One of the most anticipated events of the year! You won’t want to miss this spectacular nighttime parade! Watch the Village light up with colour and festive spirit. Starting at 6:30 pm sharp, the parade starts on Hamilton Street at Rockhaven Lane and will wind through beautiful downtown Waterdown, ending at the corner of Hamilton Street and Parkside Drive.
Letters to Santa – Write to Santa and bring your letters to the parade! Santa loves getting letters from all the boys and girls so make sure you bring your letter to Santa to the parade. Watch for Santa’s special helpers who will collect your letter and make sure Santa receives them in plenty of time. Use Santa’s proper address and be sure to include your full return address so Santa can write you back: Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0
Burlington Santa Claus Parade
Sunday, December 1 | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Downtown Burlington
Burlington’s annual Santa Claus Parade will feature bands, colourful floats, mascots, and jolly old Saint Nick himself. Support your community and bring a non-perishable food donation to the Santa Claus Parade. The Burlington Teen Tour Boosters will be collecting in support of local food banks.
Stoney Creek Santa Claus Parade

The parade route begins at Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School on Grays Road and travels west on King Street East to Battlefield Drive.
Grimsby Santa Claus Parade

Downtown Grimsby
The Grimsby Santa Claus Parade is one of the longest-running events in Grimsby. The parade was once a morning event, but in the year 2000, the parade was moved to an evening event to celebrate the millennium. It was such a success that it has remained an evening event ever since. Each year the parade consists of approximately 90 entries which include community floats, walking groups, marching bands and various entertainment. The Grimsby Santa Claus Parade is the perfect kickoff to your holiday celebrations — don’t miss it.
Parade Route: Eastbound along Livingston Avenue/Main Street West starting at Blessed Trinity Secondary School and ending at the Ontario Street intersection.
