Candlelit Stroll

Bundle up the kids and bring your voices downtown to join in the fun as Burlington downtown kicks off the holiday season at the annual carolling event and launches the Festival of Lights.
The festivities kick off at 6:00 pm in Civic Square where you will be able to enjoy:
• Festive Burgers served hot from the grill by the Works Gourmet Burger Bistro
• Visits with Santa
• Christmas Music
• Pick up your Complimentary Candle & Route Map
• Cash donations being accepted for the CHML “Wishing Well”
6:45 pm: Welcome from Local Dignitaries
• The official lighting of the CHML Tree of Hope
• Leave Civic Square as a group on the carolling procession following the Town Crier
• The stroll starts at 7:00 pm with musical stops throughout the downtown core.

Celebrating 24 Years of Holiday Magic
Come share your holiday spirit with family and friends while strolling through the 60 magical lighting displays set up at Spencer Smith Park from November 29, 2019, to January 8, 2020. Twinkle, the Festival of Lights mascot, will be at the Opening Ceremony and Candlelit Stroll.

Burlington Santa Claus Parade

Downtown Burlington
Burlington’s annual Santa Claus Parade will feature bands, colourful floats, mascots, and jolly old Saint Nick himself. Support your community and bring a non-perishable food donation to the Santa Claus Parade. The Burlington Teen Tour Boosters will be collecting in support of local food banks.
