Ontario Parks Free Use Day
Friday, July 19 | 8:00 am – 10:00 pm
All operating Ontario Parks.
FREE DAY USE in all Ontario Parks in honour of Healthy Parks Healthy People. Parks across the province will offer events and activities that encourage people to visit parks and be active. Explore a new park, sample the facilities and services or enjoy a fun event in a great natural setting.

Ontario’s provincial parks are home to some of the most inspiring and beautiful landscapes in the country. We want to increase the awareness and uptake of the strong benefits linked to spending time in nature.

All visitors to the park will be issued a complimentary day pass to the park. You may enjoy the park facilities until 10:00 pm. Additional charges for facilities not included in day-use such as camping, equipment rentals and pools at Bronte Creek and Earl Rowe provincial parks will remain in effect during the celebration.

Midnight Madness in Oakville

Midnight Madness is celebrating 42 years of community fun! Enjoy Oakville’s largest retail event of the year, featuring food, live music, entertainment and lots of community spirit! With over 6 blocks of free family-friendly entertainment and brag-worthy deals available right through to midnight, this is an evening of excitement you won’t want to miss!  Shop, dine and enjoy all that downtown Oakville has to offer.

Burlington Food Truck Festival

Burlington Food Truck Festival is expanding to 3 days! 40 Food Trucks will be serving up some of the best food from the country, this is a festival you won’t want to miss! Show some of your Burlington love by bringing your friends and family. Oh and don’t forget, there will be FREE ADMISSION, a children’s midway, local performers, cold beer and eating challenges geared to entertain the masses!

Healthy Parks, Healthy People Day

FREE! 1 day only Ontario Parks is waiving the Daily Vehicle Permit Fee for you to discover & enjoy your Provincial Parks. Bronte Creek Provincial Park is opening their doors to everyone in Ontario; there will be no charge for day-use visitation during the celebration (except the pool).  Bronte Creek Provincial Park is hosting events and activities that encourage people to visit parks and be active. Explore the park, sample the facilities and services or enjoy a fun event in a great natural setting!

Milton Rib Festival

The Milton Rib Festival features 26 food vendors, 15 craft beers and 10 live bands. The annual event is part of the Northern Heat Rib Series.

Concerts in the Park – Sophisticated Swing

Join us for free musical entertainment every summer in June, July and August at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays at Central Park Bandshell. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening of music under the open sky at the Central Park Bandshell. We offer something for every age and taste. In the event of inclement weather, where possible, concerts at Central Park Band Shell will move inside at the Music Centre.

Fit in the Core

Our wildly popular free outdoor fitness classes Fit in the Core is back every Sunday this year beginning on Sunday, June 2 at a new location! As Civic Square gets an upgrade we’ll be holding our Fit in the Core sessions outside the Burlington Performing Arts Centre on their plaza.

Now in its seventh year, Fit in the Core is a free one-hour class led by the fitness and wellness experts from downtown. The series features everything from boot camps to yoga, Pilates and even dance classes. Classes are held every Sunday from June 2 to September 22 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. All that is required is a mat and a water bottle.
