The Royal Winter Fair continues the legacy of excellence and is the largest indoor agricultural event in the world. The Royal Horse Show is one of the world’s finest equestrian spectacles and attracts athletes from across the planet. A win at The Royal means something, regardless of whether you’re pickling, jamming, raising beef or driving six-horse hitches. Every year, 300,000 people come to The Fair to celebrate the very best food, livestock and horsemanship this country has to offer.
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair has been focusing on local food since long before it became trendy. Since 1922, generations of farmers, growers and producers have been heading to Toronto to exhibit their agricultural products and livestock. Amateurs and professionals alike have been entering the Royal’s Food competitions, which cover categories ranging from butter and cheese to jams, jellies, preserves, honey, maple syrup, pickles and the ever-popular butter tart. The fair has also featured award-winning craft beer, cider and wine.
The Royal boasts a huge variety of equestrian and agricultural competitions, food and lifestyle attractions and also featured attractions, performances and events. There is something for everyone!
