The Rockton World’s Fair is the place to be this Thanksgiving weekend. In its 167th year, the fair will feature fall favourites such as plant and vegetable contests, 4H competitions, agricultural displays, exhibitors, a midway and much more.

Pumpkins After Dark

Thursday, September 26, 2019, to Sunday, November 3, 2019

This Halloween season, witness magnificent works of pumpkin artistry – 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins, creating more than 100 sculptures, displayed among a series of jack-o-lanterns all illuminated after dark. Pumpkins After Dark is an unforgettable night of fun and enchantment for the whole family!

Harvest Festival at Springridge Farm

Springridge Farm | 7256 Bell School Line | Milton
Weekends beginning Saturday, September 21 to Sunday, October 27, including Thanksgiving Monday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Admission to Harvest Festival: $13.00 (includes HST) per person, ages 2-92.
There is no charge to visit the farm market, bakery and gift shop.

Harvest Festival activities include:
• A Professional Puppet Show  (Show Times: 11:00 am, 12:00 pm,
1:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm)
• Wagon Ride to the 5-acre Corn Trail
• Spooky Boo Barn
• Spider Web Climber
• Farm Yard Pipe Slides
• Access to The Fun Farm Yard: Animal Barn, Giant Sandbox, Corn Trail, Tube
• Slides, Straw Bale Jumping and Escarpment Lookout
• Singing Chicken Show
• Goat Mountain

Pony Rides are available for an additional $5 per ride. 

The Springridge Farm BBQ Barn is open for Harvest Festival. Menu items include grilled-to-perfection hotdogs, sausages, corn on the cob, apple chips and the Little Farmer Lunch combo for kids. Visit the Barn Market for fall décor, farm-fresh baking, pies, apples and apple cider.

Burlington Made – The Foodie Show

Saturday, October 12 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ron Joyce Centre |4350 South Service Road | Burlington 
Gourmet food and beverage vendors. Cooking & tasting demos. Taste, savour, and take home! Celebrate the Burlington area’s growing independent food scene while meeting and mingling with some of the best local food and beverage makers and shopkeepers. $5 entry, parking included.

Fall Into Nature

Spectacular scenery, fall colours, and an array of activities at Fall into Nature.
Fall into Nature takes place during the month of October. 

Activities include:
• Chairlift rides to the top of the escarpment with spectacular views along the way. Chairlift rides are only available at Kelso on Thanksgiving weekend, and October 13 and 14.
• Educational and interactive programs (visit an Iroquoian village and the Deer Clan Longhouse, learn about the science of nature)
• Birds of prey shows
• Children’s activities, food, and more!

Residents and visitors alike are invited to join us in celebrating autumn at this fun-filled festival great for people of all ages! 

Regular park entrance fees apply. Admission valid for one-day entry is valid for all seven parks.
