Terry Fox Runs in the 905

This year’s Terry Fox Run will be held on Sunday, September 15th. Run, bike, walk, rollerblade to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation which supports cancer research. 

OAKVILLE
Sunday, September 15 | Registration at 9:00 am

Coronation Park | 1426 Lakeshore Road West | Oakville
Organizers of this year’s 39th annual Oakville Terry Fox run are hoping to raise a record $200,000 to support the groundbreaking cancer research supported by the event.

Walk, bike, board, blade, run, push a stroller or walk the dog along a lakeside 2K, 5K or 10K route. The event is non-competitive and family-friendly with leashed dogs welcome participants.

BURLINGTON

Waterfront Hotel | 2020 Lakeshore Road | Burlington
The Burlington Terry Fox Run will begin at the foot of Brant Street in front of the Waterfront Hotel, just east of the Burlington Pier.

Walk or run one of the three distances: 1K, 5K or 10K. Strollers and rollerblades are welcome, and the route is wheelchair accessible. The run is also dog-friendly. 

There will be water stations and food provided, two live bands, a DJ, emcee, kids activities and Terry Fox shirts for sale.

HAMILTON

Gage Park | 1000 Main Street East | Hamilton
The Hamilton-Gage Park Terry Fox Run will begin near the flag pole at Gage Park. 

Parking available and HSR accessible. Refreshments and water will be provided. Bike and stroller accessible. Dogs on leash are welcome. This is a 5 km route.

E.C. Drury High School | 255 Ontario Street South | Milton
Milton’s annual Terry Fox Run will begin from the front entrance of E.C. Drury High School. Parking is available, and it is transit accessible.

There are two route distances: 5K and 10K.

Snacks, water stations and refreshments will be provided.

You can bike, rollerblade, walk or run; strollers are welcome, and the route is wheelchair accessible and dog-friendly.

GEORGETOWN
Sunday, September 15 | Registration at 10:30 am | Run begins at 11:00 am
Gellert Centre | 10241 Eighth Line | Halton Hills
The Georgetown Terry Fox Run which begins from the Gellert Centre. Parking is available.

There will be an open start between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Routes will be 750 metres and a 5K loop. Bikes, strollers, rollerblades are welcome as are dogs, but they must be on a leash. The routes are wheelchair accessible.

Available on the day of the run will be a playground, water, free pizza and cookies courtesy of Domino’s and Terra Cotta Cookies, and a raffle.
