Santa Claus is Coming to Burlington!!

53rd Annual Burlington Santa Claus Parade
Sunday, December 2, 2018 | 2:00 pm
Burlington’s annual Santa Claus Parade will feature 86 entries that include floats, mascots and a variety of different bands.

“The Santa Claus Parade is a great way to kick-off the festive season and have fun with your family and neighbours,” said Chris Glenn, director of parks and recreation at the city.

Traditional favourites will return, such as the Burlington Teen Tour Band, the Junior Redcoats, Top Hat Marching Orchestra and the Halton Regional Police Service Pipes and Drums.

Children are encouraged to bring their letters for Santa, which will be collected by letter carriers from Canada Post along the parade route.

Those who attend can also bring their non-perishable food donations to be collected by the Burlington Teen Tour Band boosters and volunteers with the Gift of Giving Back.

Lakeside Festival of Lights
Celebrating 23 Years of Holiday Magic
The Burlington Festival of Lights is the city’s longest running festival, lighting up the city’s waterfront for the holiday season. It’s a magical sight for the whole family, especially the young at heart.

The festival has gained the reputation in the region and beyond as the ‘must-see’ lighting extravaganza for the holidays.

Come share your holiday spirit with family and friends while strolling through the 60 magical lighting displays set up at Spencer Smith Park from November 30, 2018 to January 8, 2019.

Twinkle, the Festival of Lights mascot, will be excited to see you at the Opening Ceremony and Candlelit Stroll on November 30, so be sure to say Hi!

Keep the community tradition alive and visit Burlington’s Lakeside Festival of Lights this year!
