Family Friendly Activities for New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve Family Skate and Public Coyote Howl – Oakville
Create a special family tradition and visit Bronte Creek Provincial Park this New Years’ Eve. There will be outdoor skating (rentals available), Children’s Farm and Play Barn, plenty of music, yummy treats and a bonfire.  Meet a Park Ranger to go on a guided public Coyote Howl Hike to learn about the Eastern Coyote and a how to learn a proper Coyote howl too!  To end the evening there will be an 8:30pm countdown at the rink for a fun and early welcome celebration to 2019! No dogs permitted on the guided hike.

New Year’s Nature Hoopla – Milton
Take your New Year’s celebration outdoors for this nature party with a play barn, wagon rides, night hike, and puppet show—plus hibernation stations and a roaring bonfire to keep you warm. Kids’ countown at 9:00pm.

Winter at Ontario Place – Toronto
Head over to the West Island of Ontario Place and wander through the beautiful, lakeside Winter Light Exhibition with 18 illuminated exhibits, and settle in at the bonfire with some cocoa or try out the skating rink. The bonfire will be lit from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and free skating runs from 3:00pm to 9:00 pm. S’more kits, marshmallows and sticks are for sale.

Get ready for the biggest New Year’s Eve event in the Toronto area. Entertainment includes a DJ skating party, live musical performances, and fireworks to end the night.

2019 Niagara Falls New Year’s Eve Celebration and Fireworks – Niagara Falls
Welcome 2019 at the marvellous falls with great entertainers, and truly historic fireworks. The outdoor celebration also features a variety of food and beverage options, as well as an outdoor licensed area. Enjoy magnificent fireworks launched from the Niagara Gorge at midnight to bring in the New Year. Entertainers: Burton Cummings, Walk off the Earth,The Sheepdogs and Avenue Inn.
