Camper Halloween Weekend

Celebrate Halloween at Bronte Creek Provincial Park this year at their Camper Halloween Weekend!

Campfire Friday Night – come out to learn the history and traditions of All Hallows Eve “Halloween”  and enjoy stories, games music and more —- Open to campers and day visitors.

Saturday activities are for registered campers of Bronte Creek Provincial Park only. Decorate your site to have a chance to win a prize! Dress up and go trick-or-treating around the campground. Then go on a spooky guided evening hike where you will learn about bats, owls and coyotes! Maybe even get them to howl back…

Rotary Turkey Trot

Sunday, October 20 | 8:30 am to 11:00 am
Bronte Creek Provincial Park | 1219 Burloak Drive | Burlington
The Rotary Turkey Trot is a family-friendly 5km walk/run or 10km run on the scenic trails at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The Rotary Club of Burlington North raises funds through this event for local charities like Food for Kids, Shifra Homes and Halton Women’s Place.

Kids’ Zone
Fun activities for kids:
• A bouncy castle for children aged 3-5 years
• Tattoos of rainbows, fairies, sports, creatures and so much more
• A craft table where children can make a turkey out of a pine cone
• A colouring table where children (and adults) can make a paper turkey hat
Also, don’t forget to get your family photo taken at the Photo Booth!

Stoney Creek PumpkinFest

Spooktacular Stroll

Binbrook Fairgrounds | 2600 Hwy 56 | Hamilton
This family event invites you to bring your kids in full Halloween costume so they can enjoy a night of Trick-or-Treating around the Binbrook Fairgrounds track. Food Vendors and other family-friendly entertainment will also be offered.

Scarecrow Walk

October 11 – 31 | 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Downtown Waterdown Village | Waterdown
The scarecrow invasion returns to Waterdown Village for the 3rd year. Walk the streets of the core to spot scarecrows decorated and displayed by local Village businesses. A fun way to spend a fall day or evening to see if you can spot them all. 
• There will be more than 65 scarecrows on display at participating businesses.
• Find them and vote for your favourite for a chance to win 1 of 2 $200 Shopping Spree Prizes.
• Find the clues on 10 of the scarecrows and solve the puzzle to be eligible for the $500 Grand Prize Shopping Spree.
• NEW this year — we want to see the invasion spread to residences throughout the Village. Decorate your own scarecrow at home and post pictures using #WVScarecrows for a chance at the $150 Bonus Home Scarecrow Shopping Spree prize.

Harvest Festival at Springridge Farm

Admission to Harvest Festival: $13.00 (includes HST) per person, ages 2-92.
There is no charge to visit the farm market, bakery and gift shop.

Mountsberg Spooktacular Halloween

During the month of October Mountsberg undergoes a ghoulish transformation! The spooky Haunted Barn is suitable for children ages 5 and up (there are no jump scares but there are some spooky themes – parents are encouraged to explore first). Do you dare find the mad scientist in his lab or dance with the skeletons in their lair? Singing pumpkins and a wicked witch are ready to greet you – if you dare enter! This event also features fall wagon rides, live snake presentations, Bird of Prey Presentations – featuring Vultures and Owls, Pumpkin Passport to Discovery, hay play area, face painting and snake shows…whew! Wear your costume and receive a free treat in the shop.
