Rogers Hometown Hockey makes its way to Burlington this weekend and you can expect a great weekend of FREE hockey-related activities, NHL Alumni appearances, music, and fun for the whole family!

Ron MacLean and Tara Slone LIVE will be on site Sunday, October 28th for the broadcast as they tell the stories that celebrate the hockey history and culture that put Burlington on Canada’s hockey map, and stick around to catch the Ottawa Senators take on the Vegas Golden Knights.

Treats in our Streets
Saturday, October 27 | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Celebrate Halloween at the wildly popular FREE trick-or-treating event! Families are welcomed by businesses to trick-or-treat in costume throughout the downtown, collecting goodies at participating downtown businesses. Treating stops are highlighted on maps provided, featuring businesses and activities along the way! Volunteers will also be on the look out for best costume to win a grand prize! 

Start your adventure at the Burlington Downtown Tent located on Brant Street outside of 375 Brant Street. First 2,000 ghouls & goblins will receive a free treating bag! Route maps will also be provided on-site. Click for the route map: Treats in our Streets Map 

The Rogers Hometown Hockey is also taking place in the downtown core at the same time. Treats in our Streets trick-or-treaters are invited to take part in a Zombie Walk parade beginning at the Burlington Downtown Tent at 1:00pm and walk towards the main stage outside City Hall and kick-off Rogers Hometown Hockey!  

Fall Garden & Mum Show
October 26 – November 4 | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The 2018 Fall Garden & Mum Show theme this year is “Once Upon a Toy”. The Mum Show is Ontario’s largest Chrysanthemum show and so much more. Daily seminars, hands on workshops, ticketed events and games, there is something for everyone at the Mum Show!

Autumn Harvest
Downtown Oakville | Saturday, October 27 | 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Celebrate the colours of fall during Autumn Harvest every Saturday in downtown Oakville from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. There will be hayride and activities throughout the downtown.
Hay Wagon Ride 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., pick-up in Towne Square, last pick-up at 3:45 p.m.
Decorate mini pumpkins by colouring on them, stickers etc. 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Towne Square
Autumn Harvest – Oakville
Oakville Historical Society Ghost Walk:
$12 per adult and 
$6 for children 12 and under.
Infants are free.  No pets allowed. 
Please meet in the office of the Oakville Historical Society at 110 King Street 10-15 minutes before your walk is scheduled to begin. For same day bookings, please submit before 1:00 pm.

The Springridge Farm BBQ Barn is open for Harvest Festival. Menu items include grilled-to-perfection hotdogs, sausages, corn on the cob, apple chips and the Little Farmer Lunch combo for kids. Visit the Barn Market for fall décor, seasonal baked goods, Ontario corn, apples and apple cider.
Admission to Harvest Festival is $13 per person, ages 2-92. There is no charge to visit the farm market, bakery and gift shop.
